Native users can now manage their local workspace from the web app's App settings, including before login or a required password change. A versioned Apple WebView bridge limits access to approved actions from the current trusted main frame. Workspace changes retain native validation, persistent storage and session isolation; iOS removes its toolbar only after compatible web settings are ready and keeps native recovery available for older servers and connection failures.
On macOS, App settings expose the installed version, update status and progress, automatic checks and their interval, manual checks, and confirmed installation/restart using the existing native updater state and menu behavior.
Scope: iOS and macOS only, as requested. Android implementation and validation are excluded. Native version is 0.2.6, with macOS build 11 and iOS build 6. The branch was created from the updated main at 752ba2c; the PR targets main.
Validation:
31 relevant PHP tests passed (217 assertions), including native settings rendering/actions, authentication, security and localization.
44 focused JavaScript/native build tests and the native version consistency test passed.
21 Rust unit tests passed; format and Clippy checks passed.
13 iOS simulator tests passed, including live bridge access, frame rejection, persistence, session isolation and toolbar removal.
macOS online/offline workspace and updater WebView integration tests passed, including settings persistence and denied subframe/unknown requests.
Frontend type check, production build, targeted ESLint, Pint and diff whitespace checks passed.
The existing real signed-upgrade test remains ignored because it requires two Developer ID signed release archives. Update source and signature verification are unchanged.
