The macOS release failed after successful notarization because DMG packaging tried to control Finder. Tauri’s DMG bundler reads the CI environment separately from the CLI --ci option.
Set CI=true and TAURI_BUNDLER_DMG_IGNORE_CI=false explicitly on the Tauri action so packaging skips Finder automation even on a local runner. The DMG still includes KanbanGit.app and the Applications link; fixed Finder icon positions are not applied in this mode.
Validation: all 11 workflow tests pass, including a regression check for the build-step environment. ESLint, YAML parsing and diff checks pass. Real signed app/DMG/updater packaging completed with these settings. The DMG was mounted read-only and its signed app and Applications link verified. Local validation did not repeat Apple notarization; the release workflow retains it.
After merge, manually dispatch “macOS release to Hetzner” from main with the existing macos-v0.1.2 tag. This uses the corrected workflow with the unchanged tagged app sources. Re-running the old failed run would retain the old workflow. No version bump or tag replacement is needed for this workflow-only fix.
Base and PR target: main, pulled with git pull --ff-only origin main before branch creation at 74bcf5d30c666be6fa1bd25b57ebfc0b667b6bbd.
