About KanbanGit and Software updates displayed the app version in place of the build number (for example, 0.1.2 (0.1.2)). Tauri omits the macOS bundle settings from its generated runtime configuration, and the About metadata also had its version fields reversed.

Both displays now use a shared build-number reader that reads CFBundleVersion from the running app’s Contents/Info.plist. Unbundled development runs use the build number in the checked-in configuration. About metadata maps the app version to the main version and the build to the parenthesized value.

Prepare version 0.1.3, build 3, with release notes, so existing 0.1.2 installations can receive the correction through the updater. All version files and the Cargo lockfile agree.

Validation:

  • 18 Rust unit tests passed, including installed bundle build 42 versus app version 0.1.3, missing metadata, development fallback, and About field mapping.

  • 76 relevant JavaScript tests passed; Rustfmt, Clippy (all targets/features), ESLint and diff checks passed.

  • Native WebView smoke test now checks actual backend-provided version/build before injecting UI fixtures; it passed with Installed version 0.1.3 (build 3).

  • Signed app, DMG and updater archive built successfully. Packaged Info.plist verified as version 0.1.3 / build 3. Local packaging was signed but not newly notarized; production notarization remains in the release workflow.

Base and PR target: main, pulled before branch creation at 8aa7bf68602f9e810544adceff0c9a29e5be9e97. Publish after merge with a new macos-v0.1.3 tag; do not replace the existing 0.1.2 release.
