Run 1342 reached public ZIP verification, then failed on the checksum download despite the bucket being public. Repeated anonymous GETs reproduced alternating 200/403 responses for the same objects. Both the ZIP and its checksum were retrieved successfully and matched; the downloaded app also passed CLI signature, architecture, version, stapling and Gatekeeper verification. The cause of the inconsistent server responses remains unconfirmed.

Retry public GET requests up to five times with a two-second delay for HTTP 403/404/408/429/500/502/503/504 and request failures. Persistent failures report the file and HTTP status; a SHA-256 mismatch still fails immediately. The completion record is only written after the ZIP and checksum pass verification.

Prepare native version 0.1.1 consistently in package.json, Tauri configuration, Cargo.toml and the package's Cargo.lock entry. Version 0.1.0 is already publicly downloadable and must not be rebuilt over its existing objects. After merge, create macos-v0.1.1 on the merged main commit to run this release. An older failed tag with that name, if still present, must be resolved first; this PR does not change tags or S3 objects.

Validation: 64 affected upload/metadata/packaging tests pass, including temporary and persistent denial, network errors, immediate checksum mismatch and checksum retries before completion. ESLint, release metadata for macos-v0.1.1, Cargo metadata --locked --offline, and git diff checks pass. No app UI tests were performed.
