KAN-54 adds a versioned Xcode target for local iPhone and iPad builds on iOS/iPadOS 17+, based on KAN-52. The native server selector opens HTTPS workspaces in an isolated, persistent WKWebView, preserves loaded inputs after connection failures, and supports safe areas, keyboard resizing, rotation, and System/Light/Dark appearance. Desktop startup remains separate and retains its existing behavior.
Includes build commands, English localization, app icons, Swift session/navigation tests, and a UI test. Signing uses the developer's own Apple team; there is no TestFlight or App Store upload. Local setup and verification instructions are documented in KAN-54.
Validation completed:
iOS simulator bundle and unsigned iOS device build.
macOS application bundle.
3 launcher tests, 7 Rust tests, Rust formatting and Clippy.
6 Swift tests on iPhone and iPad; an earlier iPad UI test passed.
Ruby syntax check for the Podfile and clean diff formatting.
The user explicitly takes over all further simulator/emulator/device app testing. Final iPhone/iPad interaction acceptance remains with them; the iPhone UI test is not consistently passing yet around launch state/element visibility, and the latest test changes are included for follow-up. A signed physical-device run requires the user's Apple team and has not been performed. No remaining app-test result is represented as passing.
